The following is extracted from an independent test and says it all. Only thing I’ll add is that I went from a Skeeter to this Nitro for a more versatile boat and have never looked back. Great all-round boat, excellent for the family without sacrificing everything you need from a tournament setup.

Design and Layout

As with all Nitro boats, the 189 Sport comes well equipped. At the bow is an upgraded 24 Volt trolling motor with removable bracket, foot control & two remote controls. The bow features both in-deck storage and a twin aerated live-well. There is also a bow pedestal seat mount for fishing.
